Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
I grew up living next to a forest and constantly playing in the woods so I think that has a lot to do with how my artwork presents itself. There's a lot of playfulness and movement but there's also a sort of serene and rhythmic element to it. I have a lot of respect for nature and the organic but repetitive structure found throughout it. Even though I often use unnatural, highly saturated colours in my work, I think that the experience of being surrounded by something so incredible and perfectly complicated really inspires what I create.
